Hatbox Theatre maintains a MASK OPTIONAL policy for our guests and staff. Hatbox Theatre recommends the use of masks for personal protection from airborne pathogens, and follows current guidance from the CDC and local health officials. We will continue to provide socially distanced seating for the time being. Please check the details of the event you choose to attend for specific details. All orders are subject to venue policies at the time of the show, which may be different from the policies at the time of purchase. Thank you!
BUYERS BEWARE!
Please do not purchase tickets from websites other than hatboxnh.com. Those are not sales through Hatbox Theatre, and you will pay much, much more than the actual ticket cost with no guarantee of receiving tickets (real or counterfeit). Purchases made through these third-party websites are not actual Hatbox Theatre transactions and cannot be returned to or validated by us. Internet searches for our events can link you to third-party websites. Please only search for our events from our website hatboxnh.com.

Hatbox Theatre does not generally cancel performances except in cases of extreme weather. If the safety of our performers and audience warrants a cancellation (a very rare occurrence), we will contact folks who have purchased tickets and offer to exchange them for another performance of the same show. we will post notice of the cancellation at hatboxnh.com, on our Facebook page (and the event page), on our answering machine (603-715-2315) and post a notice on the door.
In certain extreme circumstances, tickets may be exchanged for other performances of the same show. Members of Hatbox Theatre receive priority.
AT THIS TIME, Hatbox Theatre is providing Assigned Seating with special social distancing protocols. This means that only every other row is being sat and there will be a minimum of two seats to the left and right of each party/individual. This limits the number of seats we may sell to any given performance to between 60-70% of capacity. Due to spaced seating, Hatbox Theatre reserves the right to adjust patron seating left or right to accommodate patrons and to avoid unsold seating. In order to comply with the guidelines, we ask patrons to arrive to the theatre no later than fifteen minute prior to curtain. Thank you for your understanding.
Hatbox Theatre hopes to return to open, or General Seating. This means first come, first served seating. Requests to reserve specific seating are generally limited to ADA requirements. Patrons may be asked to move over by one seat in the event of “orphan” seating (one seat left between groups). We recommend early arrival for best seating options.
Hatbox Theatre has two designated wheelchair seating positions. These are generally on each end of the first row main bank of seats (one per). One companion seat is regularly reserved at each end of the front row main bank of seats and more may be marked reserved upon purchase of tickets (please contact the box office to request these reserved spaces).
NOTE: Hatbox Theatre is a small performing arts venue with 100 or fewer seats (dependent on configuration). In the event of sold out performances, “unsold accessible seats may be released and sold to members of the general public … when all non-accessible seats have been sold” (Ref: ADA Requirements for Ticket Sales).
CONSENT TO BE CAPTURED IN PHOTOS/AUDIO/VIDEO OR OTHER MEDIA
Your entry and presence in Hatbox Theatre constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with Hatbox Theatre and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising. By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the premises.
Gift certificates are a great way to share your love of Hatbox productions with others. To redeem a certificate, either provide the code printed on the certificate (generally a word/phrase plus a three digit number) over the phone when you are reserving tickets, to the box office personnel when purchasing your tickets in person, or online by entering the code in the appropriate box and pushing the “APPLY” button. If you have any difficulties redeeming, please don’t hesitate to email or call.
Between general seating and having no lobby or buffer between the outside and the performance space, we have a NO LATE SEATING policy. We apologize if circumstances have conspired against you causing you to arrive late, but we appreciate your understanding.
SOLD OUT PERFORMANCES – “WAIT” SEATING
When performances sell out (meaning all seats are paid for or reserved awaiting payment), Hatbox Theatre offers spots on the wait list. Beginning around twenty minutes before show time, Hatbox may begin selling reservations that have not been picked up to guests “waiting” at the theatre. These are provided on a first come/first served basis. Occasionally, guests who have purchased their tickets may not use all of those tickets and give permission for them to be released for sale to wait seating (see next item).
If you are unable to attend a performance you are welcome to gift your tickets to others. Some patrons like to “release” their tickets for Hatbox Theatre to resell to other patrons; these generate additional funds for Hatbox and allow others to see performances that may be sold out.
DIFFICULTY PURCHASING TICKETS ONLINE?
Thanks for your patience with online Hatbox ticket orders. When a show gets close to a sellout, the number of tickets available becomes very small. When someone adds those tickets to their cart, they are unavailable for up to twenty minutes (when they are released) or until purchased (and no longer available). If you are having difficulty purchasing tickets, you could try again later or contact the box office by phone for a reservation (or to be added to the wait list). We sell tickets in the order that reservations come in, so the sooner you get in line, the more likely we will be able to fulfill your request.
We have limited prepackaged concessions available for purchase ($2 each item, cash only). Examples of product that may be available include: Bottled Water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Canada Dry Ginger Ale, Polar Seltzer Black Cherry, Coffee & Tea, M&Ms (plain & peanut), Snickers, Skittles, Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Cookies. Each item is $2, cash only.
If you have any questions when purchasing tickets through our website, please email boxoffice@hatboxnh.com. Thank you!
